Use gald3r with Goose¶
Goose — Block's open-source, on-machine AI developer agent, available as the goose CLI (headless/CI-friendly) and goose Desktop (one-click recipe launch). It is global-config-first: the primary config (config.yaml, global skills, global .goosehints) lives under ~/.config/goose/, with project scope layered on top.
Installing gald3r into a Goose project writes the CRASH overlay this tool actually reads into .goose/ — the same task board, bug tracker, and gald3r <verb> CLI every other supported platform gets, wired the way Goose itself expects it. Today that's commands native, rules native, skills native, hooks native, MCP native via the gald3r engine's MCP (L2). Cheapest high-parity install: point Goose at the shared ~/.claude/skills/ tree (or copy into ~/.config/goose/skills/) so gald3r g-skl-* load natively. Then add .goosehints (rules), recipe YAML surfaced as custom slash commands (commands/workflows), a hooks.json plugin (hooks), and an MCP extensions: entry in ~/.config/goose/config.yaml.
Once installed, the same .gald3r/TASKS.md task board, bug tracker, and full gald3r <verb> CLI work identically to every other supported platform — Goose is one of 37 platforms gald3r reads and writes today. Commonly searched as Block Goose, Goose AI agent.
