Use gald3r with Kimi Code¶
Kimi Code — Moonshot AI's terminal-native coding agent, delivered as the open-source Kimi Code CLI plus a VS Code extension and third-party editor integrations (JetBrains, Zed via ACP). Model id kimi-for-coding / kimi-k2 family.
Installing gald3r into a Kimi Code project writes the CRASH overlay this tool actually reads into .kimi/ — the same task board, bug tracker, and gald3r <verb> CLI every other supported platform gets, wired the way Kimi Code itself expects it. Today that's commands partial, rules native, skills native, hooks not yet wired, MCP native via the gald3r engine's MCP (L2). Ship gald3r's SKILL.md tree into .kimi-code/skills/ (native) or .agents/skills/ (cross-tool) + an AGENTS.md instruction file. Wire hooks in $KIMI_CODE_HOME/config.toml (default ~/.kimi-code/config.toml) via [[hooks]]; invoke g-hk-*.py through python
Once installed, the same .gald3r/TASKS.md task board, bug tracker, and full gald3r <verb> CLI work identically to every other supported platform — Kimi Code is one of 37 platforms gald3r reads and writes today. Commonly searched as Kimi Code CLI, Moonshot Kimi Code, kimi-cli.
