Use gald3r with Kiro CLI¶
Kiro CLI is Amazon's terminal agentic coding assistant — the rebrand/successor of the Amazon Q Developer CLI (q / q chat entry points preserved). It is spec-driven and agent-centric, with the full extensibility surface under .kiro/.
Installing gald3r into a Kiro CLI project writes the CRASH overlay this tool actually reads into .kiro/ — the same task board, bug tracker, and gald3r <verb> CLI every other supported platform gets, wired the way Kiro CLI itself expects it. Today that's commands partial, rules native, skills native, hooks partial, MCP native via the gald3r engine's MCP (L2). Cheapest high-parity install: ship gald3r's AGENTS.md (+ g-skl-/SKILL.md under .kiro/skills/) — Kiro CLI reads AGENTS.md and auto-discovers SKILL.md (each also becomes /skill-name). Add gald3r rules as .kiro/steering/.md, a gald3r custom-agent JSON, and .kiro/settings/mcp.json for MCP servers.
Once installed, the same .gald3r/TASKS.md task board, bug tracker, and full gald3r <verb> CLI work identically to every other supported platform — Kiro CLI is one of 37 platforms gald3r reads and writes today. Commonly searched as Amazon Q Developer CLI, Q Developer CLI.
